International Road Dynamics (IRD) has announced a new, compact version of its popular iSINC weighin- motion electronics, capable of servicing up to eight lanes. The assembly boasts all of the features currently available in the parent, and is a hardened electronics unit able to accommodate temperature and environmental extremes. Modular and convenient to upgrade, it includes multi-tasking software for improved speed and performance.
Eyevis LED Cubes
Eyevis has released details of a new optical LED projection engine for the EC Cube Series that uses a new light concept (applying one-panel DLP Technology without colour wheel and without lamp) using RGB LED illumination. According to the company, the LED cube provides an extensively longer lifetime of the light source (approximately 55,000h) as well as enhanced optical performance, such as a high-contrast and high-colour gamut RGB illumination system for highest colour fidelity during operation.

Next-gen satellite data transceiver
Iridium Communications has unveiled its next-generation Iridium 9602 satellite data transceiver, a fullduplex Short-Burst Data (SBD) transceiver designed for embedded applications in remote asset tracking and monitoring applications. The product, which is the culmination of a two-year R&D programme, has completed prototype testing, and Iridium expects to begin commercial deliveries in June.

Optelecom-NKF has released its recently improved video management system (VMS) software application, Siqura VMS 5.4. It allows up to 20 servers and 640 video, audio, data, and I/O channels, making it ideal for both local and extended systems.
