Thales awarded Rapid Metro Gurgaon contract

Thales has won the contract to provide Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) systems for Phase II of Rapid Metro Gurgaon (operated by IL&FS Rail Limited – IRL), which connects to the Delhi metro. Under the Phase II project, Thales will provide, install, test and commission complete AFC systems for the new five-station section of the metro system between Sikandarpur and Sector 55-56. The project is expected to be completed in 24 months.

596 Thales has won the contract to provide Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) systems for Phase II of Rapid Metro Gurgaon (operated by IL&FS Rail Limited – IRL), which connects to the Delhi metro.

Under the Phase II project, Thales will provide, install, test and commission complete AFC systems for the new five-station section of the metro system between Sikandarpur and Sector 55-56. The project is expected to be completed in 24 months.
