The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has inaugurated the new Metro Manila urban traffic signal system. Developed and equipped by Indra with the latest technology, the system’s core is Indra’s Hermes smart traffic management system.

Hermes is capable of controlling more than 500 intersections, enabling MMDA to add more signalised intersections and systems to optimise the movement of vehicles, people, goods and services and move towards smart mobility management.
