Transit has integrated Paragon ID's mobile ticketing platform Open ABT into its app to provide a Mobility as a Service (MaaS) offering in North America.

Transit says cities and transit agencies can now provide riders with a solution that includes trip planning, real-time data, mobile payments and shared mobility options such as bike-share, scooters and microtransit.

The partnership is expected to support Open ABT’s entry in the North American mobile ticketing fare payments space, by giving agencies an offering that has already proven its success in Europe and Canada.

Both companies will collaborate to provide an all in one 'plan, book and pay' app to transit agencies and operators of all sizes around the world.

Thierry Burgess, CEO at Paragon ID North America describes the partnership as “a fantastic opportunity to accelerate our ticketing and payment expertise to include critical planning and tracking information for riders and transit agencies across North America”.
