Metabuild digital twin excels in South Korea

Metabuild's Traffic Digital Twin Platform uses data collected through radar sensors on a roadside, in a tunnel or on a bridge to create a real-time digital twin. Hundreds of these systems have been installed in South Korea. Traffic data is collected using Smart-IDS (Incident Detection System) and Smart-VDS (Vehicle Detection System) to detect incidents such as stopped or reversing vehicles, pedestrian or traffic congestion.

A tracking camera will automatically focus on an incident site and then an emergency video is created so that traffic operators can quickly respond in the best possible way.

With its Edge computing technology, the radar system has advantages of fast data processing but low false alarm rates. Also, the data is collected 24/7 regardless of weather conditions.
