For nearly 50 years, Schick Electronic has been innovating in parking guidance systems and has equipped over 500,000 parking spaces in structures worldwide. Indeed, in the last few months, Schick, which manufactures most of its products in-house, has deployed its systems in various locations: North Arkansas Airport Bentonville, USA; SAGS Anvers Paris, France; Parking Casino Bern, Bern, Switzerland; Parking City 2 Brussels, Belgium; Fakeeh Hospital Al Madinah Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; Parking Attijariwafa Bank Casablanca, Morocco; not to mention the 2,400-space deployment at Aéroport de Marseille, Marseille, France. With such a diverse clientele, Schick's system clearly adapts to any architecture.
At the heart of Schick's presentation at Intertraffic will be the company's Parking Guidance System (PGS). This system uses specially developed RGB LED detectors for guidance, installed above each parking space. These detectors check for the presence of a car and inform drivers of parking space availability via electronic signage visible from over 100 metres away. Users can therefore find a space as quickly as possible and using the shortest route. Operators benefit from a simple, effective, and efficient tool for managing and optimising the profitability of their parking facilities.
Schick's software developments will also be highlighted. WebSP is a tailored online solution that integrates all existing parking structures, including shopping centres, airports, and private parking facilities. The software provides real-time reports, statistics by parking space, and equipment status, guaranteeing optimal parking management.
