Designed with smart payment features for use throughout the world, its compact form factor means it will easily integrate with a user’s current service technology in any indoor, or outdoor environment, on- or off-street. Micro mounts easily to existing poles or walls, without the need for additional costly infrastructure upgrades and installations.
Another Metric product being highlighted is the Sprite. Designed with the global market in mind, the Sprite can be used for many parking modes and multi-service applications. The terminal accepts coins, banknotes as well as credit cards. Integration is possible with local smart card schemes and QR codes can be read using an optional barcode reader.
Meanwhile, the AI-Gate is a vehicle access control system consisting of barrier gates with integrated ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) cameras. Ideal for car parks in hospitals, schools, offices, industrial estates, and distribution sites, the ANPR cameras can identify vehicle number plates quickly and control access accordingly.
Other Metric innovations on show are the Metric IQ platform which has been designed from the ground up as a fully cashless and paperless answer to the world of parking. And with the growth of electric vehicles, Metric is demonstrating EV charging solutions that can integrate with its parking systems to deliver the total parking and charging solution whatever its customers’ business requirements are.
